Over 30 years of experience and passion for Garden City
About Dennis Mansfield
Dennis and his bride Susan are proud to live in Garden City along the Greenbelt. They enjoy riding bikes or taking walks with their grandchildren Cole, Amelia, Dax, Eleanor, Rosemary, and Murdoch.
Susan is a retired teacher with a nearly 20-year career in education that included time in Idaho public and private schools. Dennis’ son is a West Point graduate who served as a captain in the U.S. Army, and his son-in-law serves in both the military and law enforcement.
Dennis worked as a lobbyist for nearly 10 years in the Idaho Capitol. These days, he works as a business coach to help equip Idaho leaders and small business owners.
In 2009, Dennis and Susan lost their oldest son to drug-related causes - an event that gave them clarity about what is truly important. The Mansfield family is passionate about helping those who are stuck in addiction, so families might find healing.
Serving the Families of Garden City
Dennis Mansfield’s Pledge
“If I am honored with the chance to serve you in City Council, I will fight everyday to make your voice heard while managing growth responsibly. That means protecting quality of life for current residents while preparing for new neighbors. I’ll address traffic, infrastructure, and community planning with fairness and foresight, and champion affordable, attainable housing so families of all incomes can live and thrive here. Together, we can strengthen schools, expand economic opportunity, and secure a future that works for everyone in Garden City."
